You might remember that the Church is praying for the work of the Commission on the Way Forward. For “Praying Our Way Forward Phase 2”, each Conference has been asked to pray during one week during the time the Commission is doing its work. The CTC week to pray is January 28-February 3, 2018.
When you have nothing else to do (J) Please read the attachments and familiarize yourself with the Praying our Way Forward Initiative and how folks can participate.
Then feel free to share any and all information with your congregations via social media, newsletters, bulletin inserts, etc. It’s all here ready for you to use.
Please note the links for the website and the sign-up are included in the communication attachment.

West is … indeed blessed!

Here are three ways that you can participate:
- Download the daily prayer guide that will be posted on the conference’s Praying Our Way Forward webpage (ctcumc.org/prayforward2018). This guide will include a daily scripture, word focus for the day as well as the names of each person on the Commission on a Way Forward so that you can pray for them by name.
- Download or stream the audio guided prayer directly from the webpage (ctcumc.org/prayforward2018). A new guided prayer, with a unique and specific focus, will be available for each of the seven days.
- Visit www.umcprays.org for daily tools and prayer guides from around the United Methodist connection.
Just in case I did not do that right you can copy and paste in your web browser or go to the CTCUMC.ORG website.
The Flu Bug is sure making a big splash right now, so keep washing your hands and protecting yourself as you can.
Keep your prayer life with Christ open and active, giving thanks in all things. He loves you and cares about you, never forget that you are an adopted child of God. Share a Smile and a Kind Word so that others will know that we are followers of Jesus Christ! Remember he said that everyone will know we are His by our Love!
God Bless and Keep You and I Hope to see you all on Sunday Mornings at Church!
