January, 2018 is an opportunity for each of us to stop, take assessment of where we are and whose we are. This is an opportunity for us to repent and more closely follow Jesus and His teachings! We are in some troubling times and we as followers of Jesus Christ are Commanded to Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your mind, with all your strength and the second is like unto it, Love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. Matt. 22:37-40.
If we fail to live as Jesus taught and modeled for us, then we are no different than the rest of the world! Our lives should impress on others that we are in this world but not of this world! Our actions and words should be such that others may see and hear and give praise to God!
I pray that each of you will have a Blessed Happy and productive NEW YEAR! I invite you to come to church on Sunday mornings at 11am and worship God with us and grow in our Love and Service to Him and with each other and all God's children!
