Maundy Thursday Services begin at 6:30 p.m., we have open communion in the Methodist tradition and all believers are welcome toparticipate in the Lord ’s Supper. Sunrise Service starts at 7:15 a.m.

Our church is providing a hearty breakfast on Easter Sunday and we will be serving after the Sunrise Service.

The Ministerial Alliance wants to make this service a success. The outdoor service will have a sound system and keyboard for music, so wind your alarm clock, set it early and join us for a glorious Easter.

There will be an Easter Egg Hunt for the little children at 10:00 a.m. Donations of candy and eggs can be brought to the church office or to
the Clay Annex on Easter Sunday by 9:45 a.m. Grandparents will want to bring a camera.

Stormy Armstrong served as Worship Leader this past Sunday. Stormy introduced the speakers who read from the 14thchapter of Mark. Our speakers were Lisa Leatherwood, Laura Leatherwood, Pat Leatherwood, Eddie Raley, and Jill Moore.

Hymns were sung between each reading and Pat Beaty did a great job of playing the piano and leading the congregation in song.

We learned from Stormy that her father, J.C. Humphries, was admitted to the hospital emergency room in College Station, Texas. Stormy planned to travel to College Station immediately after church to check on J.C.

Jo Ann Pate is feeling better and her family is thankful for that.

Judy Lunsford asked for prayers for a young Marine named Jeffrey Kopp who is heading for Afghanistan this month. Jeff is the sweetheart of her
granddaughter, Kayla McCarley.

The congregation extends sincere sympathy to Rev. Mike Hannah and his wife Frances on the death of Mike’s father.

Mark 14: While they were eating He took a loaf of bread, and after blessing it He broke it, gave it to them, and said, “Take; this is my body.” Then He took a cup, and after giving thanks He gave it to them, and all
of them drank from it. He said to them, “This is my blood of the new covenant, which is poured out for many. Truly I tell you, I will never again drink of the fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it new in the kingdom of God.”

We have a beautiful website, find us at
