What a Blessing we all received this last Wednesday night.
We all thought Pastor Danny had lost his marbles when he started talking about the church as a group attending a Baseball Game in the middle of July. He wanted it to be in Memory of Bobby Price, a church member that passed away in February, who was an AVID BASEBALL FAN and when Bobby was a young man, he had played Minor League Baseball. Bobby’s other passion was helping kids “stay on the correct path” in their life. Therefore, he was excited about our church starting a Youth Program. So, Pastor Danny said this night out would be all about the youth.
Immediately there was an anonymous donor and Pastor Danny purchased 30 tickets. Once again, we all thought “he’s really lost his marbles”, thinking there would be that many folks willing to go to a ballgame, outdoors, in the middle of July. All kids and a friend(s) if they wanted to invite friends would receive a Free Ticket to the ballgame and a Free Meal at McDonalds. All adults were asked to make a monetary donation to the Youth program to get a ticket. We went to Cleburne to watch the Cleburne Railroaders. The Stadium is wonderful, so clean and the seating is great.
ALL the tickets were used. It was a beautiful evening. The temperature was great and there was a nice breeze. During the ballgame God sent us a Beautiful Rainbow right in front of us!!
As you can tell from our pictures, WE ALL HAD A GREAT EVENING!!
GOD IS GOOD!

Following a special
presentation by Mark Winter of
One Man Show Ministries, the congregation gathered to lunch and fellowship.  Thanks to our devoted fish cookers and various cooks and bakers, everyone was blessed to have plenty of fish, chicken, hush puppies, slaw, potato salad, and many delicious desserts.  Safe to say, a good time was had by all.
